Thanks to its built-in camera with motion detection, the PIXI Vision Smart Feeder allows you to put food out at the specific times your cat wants it, so the food won’t go stale or attract uninvited guests like vermin to dinner.
OBSERVE
Enable the camera to detect motion by the dish to find out when your cat naturally eats — day or night. The feeder will keep a detailed log with short videos of when your cat came to eat.
SCHEDULE
Schedule your cat’s meals based on the recorded pattern, allocating more portions of food to when they ate more. Set each meal right before your cat’s appetite first kicked in, so they don’t go hungry.
OPTIMISE
You’re all set, but can make adjustments at any time. Check the PIXI app log from time to time, and tweak your cat’s feeding schedule as needed. It only takes a few taps of your finger to adjust meal sizes or dispense more food.
Like any good parent, you want to know what else your cat gets up to when you’re not around. The motion detection camera can also be used to monitor your cat when she is drinking, or sleeping, just so you know they’re all right.
You can watch live video, or set the camera to record in HD or SD quality (High or Standard Definition), as you prefer.
LOOK IN ON YOUR CAT
A great tip to keep an eye on things when you’re away, is to strategically position the Catit PIXI Vision Smart Feeder to face other areas of interest, such as your cat’s drinking fountain, napping space, cat flap, or garden.
The camera automatically switches to night vision in low-light conditions, so you have a clear image at all times.
DETECT
The PIXI Vision Smart Feeder can keep track of your cat’s activities in two areas within the camera’s field of view. Simply move the markers in the PIXI app to define each individual zone.
You can also enable notifications to be sent to your smartphone when your cat enters one of the selected areas.
MICRO SD COMPATIBLE
You can view all detected motion in the app log. With an additional MicroSD card (max. 256 GB storage, not included with the product), you can set the Catit PIXI Vision Smart Feeder to record video.
The recording can be triggered by motion-detection or by a timer you set, or you can have the camera record continuously.
PLAYBACK
Tap on a thumbnail to watch the recorded footage in its original portrait orientation.
Share control of the feeder with your friends or family to give them viewing access of the album.
